Sunday Story (Ravivar Ki Katha)
Once upon a time, there was a poor but honest man who struggled a lot in his life. Despite working hard every day, he could not earn enough to support his family. One day, an old sage visited his home. Seeing his suffering, the sage advised him:
“Observe a fast (vrat) on Sundays and worship Surya Dev with full devotion. Offer water to the rising sun, chant prayers, and remain honest and kind.”
The man followed the sage’s advice sincerely. Every Sunday, he woke up early, took a bath, and prayed to Surya Dev with faith. Slowly, his life began to change. His financial problems reduced, his health improved, and happiness returned to his home.
He realized that true devotion, patience, and honesty bring blessings in life. From that day on, he always respected Surya Dev and continued the Sunday fast.
